MDF Doors
Medium density fiberboard is comprised of wood & paper fibers and a binding resin that is compressed under pressure and heat to form a panel. They are cut to size and routed to create a variety of profiles. These are ideally suited for solid colour paint finishing and applied laminated materials such as melamine and thermo-foils.

One Piece
A single solid piece of MDF is routed out to create the profile. These may be flat panel with an outer edge profile, recessed panel styled or raised panel style. As they are from a single piece there are no joints or seams and as such they will never display any telegraphing of joints which may occur in multi-piece construction.

Five Piece
Constructed using the same process as a real wood door. As MDF expands and contracts evenly they are less prone to telegraphing along the joints. 5 piece construction also offers some additional styles and/or profile depths that are not currently obtainable through one piece fabrication methods.
